  • Stroll Main Street with music, costumed characters, activities for kids
  • Free horse-drawn carriage rides on Main Street
  • Mrs. Claus will be at Hein & Co. bookstore reading holiday stories to children on Saturday
  • Face-painting magic with Leslie Vasquez at Davenport Properties.
  • Santa lights the town Christmas tree at the firehouse, 6 pm Fri & Sat, then heads to the historic National Hotel for children’s wish lists and free photos
  • Festively-decorated gift shops and specialty stores will offer holiday specials to visitors

A Childrens Christmas at The Hub

Children of all ages can play games at Santa's Playland, take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, create gifts for family and friends at Santa's Workshop, or purchase gifts from Santa's Gift Shop. The event will be held on Christmas Delights Weekend - November 28th and 29th from 11am - 9pm AND Saturdays December 6th, 13th, and 20th from 11am - 5pm. A $3 donation at the door helps fund future Youth Programs at The HUB (above Hein & Co. at 204 Main St.). A $3 donation and $1/craft benefits ACRA;s youth programs AND JBCA will refund your fees if you spend $100 shopping in Jackson. See ACRA’s website, www.goacra.org, for details.

Jackson’s historic Main Street will be closed to cars but open for free horse-drawn carriage rides at the Christmas Delights Open House, 6 – 9 pm, Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.
